Dr. Smith travels to Australia as a US Fulbright Scholar

Dr. Smith spent the first part of 2025 as a US Fulbright Scholar at the Australian Institute for Innovative Materials at the University of Wollongong in New South Wales. She worked with collaborators to develop alternatives to lithium-ion batteries for energy storage applications, and traveled around Australia to learn about the clean energy transition happening across the country.
